Trotz der Meinung von 26 Prozent der Fondsmanager, dass Gold aktuell überbewertet ist, wird es von anderen Marktbeobachtern weiterhin favorisiert, vor allem aufgrund hoher Staatsschulden.
Der Goldpreis stieg in den letzten 5 Jahren um fast 79 Prozent, während der DAX und der MSCI World im selben Zeitraum nur um 56 bzw. 63 Prozent zulegten.
Deutschland bleibt ein Land der Goldanleger, mit einem Gesamtgoldbesitz der privaten Haushalte von 9.034 Tonnen, was einem Anstieg von 19,5 Prozent gegenüber 2010 entspricht.
